苏州码子. A vertical-stroke numeral system (〡=1, 〢=2, 〣=3 ...) used historically in Chinese markets and accounting books. Mostly extinct today but still occasionally seen in Cantonese-speaking wet markets and old-school traditional Chinese medicine shops for price tags.
