history

苏门 'the gate of Su' means 苏轼's circle of pupils. The four are 黄庭坚, 秦观, 晁补之 and 张耒. Huang became a poet and calligrapher ranked beside Su himself, and Qin Guan one of the finest ci writers of the Song.
