燥热 covers three registers: weather (a hot, dry day), body sensation (feverish flushing), and inner mood (agitation, restlessness). In Traditional Chinese Medicine (
中医) it's also a diagnostic term for 'dry-heat' pathology. Don't confuse with
躁热 - same pinyin but the foot radical
躁 emphasizes the agitation/temperament sense exclusively.
