usage
Common as a genre label: 惊悚片 is a thriller film. The fear comes from danger and tension, unlike 恐怖 (horror, monsters and gore) or 悬疑 (suspense, a puzzle to solve). Hong Kong and Taiwan media often say 惊栗 instead.
