usage
台盆 is the home-improvement word for a basin set into a vanity counter, 台 being the countertop. Shops sort them into 台上盆 (sitting on top of the counter) and 台下盆 (fitted under it). In everyday speech many people just say 洗手盆 or 洗脸盆.
