A strong-aroma (浓香型) baijiu produced in Mianzhu, Sichuan. The name comes from the Tang-era 剑南道 (Jiannan circuit) — Mianzhu's liquor was tribute wine in Tang times. Today usually grouped with 茅台 and 五粮液 as a top-tier Chinese baijiu.
