五凤楼 Wǔfènglóu
Wufeng Lou (Hakka tulou style)
One of the three classic shapes of Fujian Hakka 土楼 (earthen buildings), alongside round and square. A 五凤楼 is laid out like a phoenix with spread wings: a main hall on the central axis and progressively lower side wings stepping down. Many examples survive in Yongding 永定, Fujian (UNESCO World Heritage).
