From Mao Zedong's 1956 ci-poem 《水调歌头·游泳》: "更立西江石壁,截断巫山云雨,高峡出平湖." It foretold building a dam to hold back water at the Yangtze's Three Gorges. After the Three Gorges Project was completed in 2003, the poem's prophecy came true.
