辵 is not used independently in modern Chinese. It is the full source form of the walk radical, which contracts to 辶 (the bottom-left 'walk' stroke). That radical drives motion characters like 走-related 进 (to advance), 边 (side), and 迎 (to greet).

Treated as one unit. Historically it combined a 'foot' element below a 'crossroads' element to picture stop-and-go walking; the modern form fused into a single graph and contracts to the everyday walk radical 辶.
