軏 is not used in modern Chinese. It is the classical name for the linchpin tying a horse-carriage's crossbar to its shaft, the counterpart of 輗 on an ox-cart; the two appear together in the 《论语》 parable that a man without trust is like a cart without its pin. The cart radical 车 gives the meaning; 兀 supplies the sound.

Archaic and literary. You will meet 軏 only in classical quotation, etymology notes, and old dictionaries, never in speech.
