China's most famous grasslands are in Inner Mongolia (内蒙古). The Hulunbuir Grassland (呼伦贝尔草原) is one of the world's largest. Grassland tourism — riding horses, staying in yurts (蒙古包), and eating roast lamb — is hugely popular.
