Part of the harvest sequence: 收割 (harvest) → 打谷/脱粒 (thresh) → 晒谷 (sun-dry) → 扬场 (winnow) → 入仓 (store). 脱粒机 (threshing machine) replaced manual flails and stone rollers in most of rural China from the 1970s onward.
