usage
A written word, known from 毛泽东's line 不管风吹浪打，胜似闲庭信步 (whatever the wind and waves, it is better than a stroll in a quiet courtyard) and the slogan 不是亲人，胜似亲人 (not family, but closer than family). 似 reads sì here, as in 相似; it is shì only in 似的.
