Cousin to the better-known 小笼包. Both have a meat-and-jellied-broth filling that liquefies when steamed. 汤包 tends to be the larger, thinner-skinned versions (Yangzhou's 蟹黄汤包 / crab-roe soup buns are the classic), often eaten with a straw.
