Tips

usage
Standard transliteration of female 'Toni': 托 (tuō) for 'To-' + 妮 (nī, 'girl') for the feminine '-ni' ending. The character 妮 (girl/lass) is reserved for women's names - male 'Tony' is usually 托尼 (Tuōní) instead. Compare 安妮 (Annie), 詹妮 (Jenny), 邦妮 (Bonnie).
