From 《列子·汤问》: a 90-year-old man sets out to dig away two mountains blocking his home, declaring that his sons and grandsons will continue the work forever. Mao Zedong ended the 1945 CCP 7th Congress with this parable — 愚公移山 became a signature slogan of revolutionary willpower.
