A UNESCO World Heritage site in Sichuan sacred to the bodhisattva Samantabhadra 普贤. The name likens the twin peaks to a pair of arched eyebrows (峨 'lofty' + 眉 'eyebrow'). Mt Emei is also the home of the Emei sword school in wuxia fiction.
