usage
巴士 (bāshì) is a transliteration of English bus, common in Hong Kong, Singapore, and increasingly the mainland. In standard PRC speech, 公交车 (gōngjiāochē) or 公共汽车 (gōnggòng qìchē) are more common for ordinary city buses.
