From Liu Yuxi's (刘禹锡, Tang dynasty) 《蜀先主庙》: 天地英雄气，千秋尚凛然。势分三足鼎，业复五铢钱 - 'The heroic spirit of heaven and earth, after a thousand autumns still awe-inspiring; he split power into a three-legged cauldron, restored the five-zhu coin as his enterprise.' Written at the shrine of Liu Bei (刘备), founder of Shu-Han.
usage
Always quoted as the second half of the pair with 天地英雄气. 千秋 'a thousand autumns' = 'countless ages.' 尚 = 'still, even now.' 凛然 = 'stern, awe-inspiring, making one shiver with respect.' Often invoked at memorials for historical figures.
