传道者 is the standard Chinese title for the Old Testament book of Ecclesiastes (also rendered
传道书). Outside religion, it can refer broadly to anyone who propagates ideas — a Confucian saying
师者，
传道授业解惑 (Shī zhě, chuándào shòuyè jiěhuò) calls teachers 'transmitters of the way.'
