中医医院 (zhōngyīyīyuàn): Traditional Chinese Medicine hospital

Nearly every Chinese prefecture-level city has a public 中医医院 operating in parallel with its Western-medicine hospitals. They offer acupuncture, herbal prescriptions, tuina massage, and cupping alongside modern diagnostics — many patients use both systems.

The 医医 double might look like a typo but isn't — the first 医 is "Chinese medicine" (中医), the second 医 is "hospital" (医院). Speakers sometimes collapse it to 中医院 in casual use.
