grammar
说谎 is a verb-object compound. To say 'told a lie,' separate it: 说了一个谎 (shuōle yī gè huǎng). You cannot say 说谎了一个.
usage
说谎 is direct and blunt. A softer way to accuse someone is 你说的不是真的 (what you said isn't true).
