Slightly literary. The metaphor 脸上飞起红云 ('a red cloud rising on her face') is a stock romance-novel phrase for a girl blushing — a moment of feminine, modest embarrassment. Direct equivalent in everyday speech: 脸红 (liǎnhóng, to blush).

In Daoist/Buddhist iconography 红云 (auspicious rosy clouds) carry immortals across the sky — an image inherited by 西游记 (Journey to the West) where 孙悟空 (Sun Wukong) rides 筋斗云. Compare 祥云 (xiángyún, auspicious clouds) for a more directly auspicious sense.
