Slightly literary. The metaphor 脸上飞起红云 ('a red cloud rising on her face') is a stock romance-novel phrase for a girl blushing, a moment of feminine, modest embarrassment. Direct equivalent in everyday speech: 脸红 (liǎnhóng, to blush).

In Daoist/Buddhist iconography 红云 (auspicious rosy clouds) carry immortals across the sky, an image inherited by 西游记 (Journey to the West) where 孙悟空 (Sun Wukong) rides 筋斗云. Compare 祥云 (xiángyún, auspicious clouds) for a more directly auspicious sense.
