煤气站 is where households go to refill or swap LPG (
液化气) cylinders for cooking — common throughout China where piped natural gas (
天然气) hasn't been installed. Don't confuse with
加油站 (jiāyóuzhàn) which is a 'gas station' in the American sense (petrol/gasoline for cars).
