As a proper noun, 深蓝 is IBM's chess-playing computer Deep Blue — the first machine to beat a reigning world champion (Garry Kasparov / 加里·卡斯帕罗夫) in a classical match in 1997. As a color, it's a calque of English 'deep blue': 深 'deep' + 蓝 'blue'.
