Japanese ONE PIECE ワンピース by 尾田荣一郎 (Oda Eiichiro). 海贼 = pirate, 王 = king - a direct translation of Gol D. Roger's title. On the mainland it was long distributed under the alternative title 航海王 to avoid the word 海贼; both titles are now common.
