usage
气话 implies the words don't reflect the speaker's true feelings - used to defuse a situation or apologize. Common with verbs 说 (shuō, 'say'), 是 (shì, 'are'): 这是气话 ('these are angry words'), 别说气话 ('don't speak in anger').
