张洁 (1937-2022) is the only author to win the Mao Dun Literature Prize (茅盾文学奖) twice — for 《沉重的翅膀》 in 1985 and 《无字》 in 2005. Her 1979 story 《爱，是不能忘记的》 was one of the first post-Mao works to openly explore romantic love, and remains a landmark of reform-era literature.
