Korean names written in hanja keep their Chinese characters but are read in Mandarin:
崔 (Korean Choi),
太雄 (Korean Tae-woong, "great hero"). The Choi/Cui surname covers about 5% of South Korea's population. In Chinese-language Korean drama subtitles, characters are routinely referred to by their hanja names.
