A heavily-roasted oolong (rock tea, 岩茶) from the Wuyi Mountains in Fujian. The legend: a Ming-dynasty scholar's mother was cured by tea from these bushes, and he draped his red imperial robe (红袍) over them in thanks. The original 'mother trees' on Jiulongke cliff are now off-limits - most Da Hong Pao on the market is grown from cuttings.
