usage
夏夜 follows the same season+夜 pattern as 春夜, 秋夜, 冬夜 — all four are literary/poetic compounds. In everyday speech you can also say 夏天的晚上, but 夏夜 has a more lyrical feel and is common in poetry, song titles and essays.
