Older / variant transliteration of Cartagena. The modern standard form is
卡塔赫纳 (Kǎtǎhènà). The character
赫 ('hè', awe-inspiring) does the work of the gutturalized 'g' in 'Cartagena' as pronounced in Spanish (closer to 'h'). Cartagena de Indias (founded 1533) is one of the best-preserved Spanish colonial cities in the Americas.
