Meanings

Literally 'what is there to fear' — even if the worst happens, it doesn't matter.

哪怕下雨，我也要去。

Nǎpà xiàyǔ, wǒ yě yào qù.

Even if it rains, I'm still going.

哪怕只有一点希望，也不要放弃。

Nǎpà zhǐ yǒu yìdiǎn xīwàng, yě búyào fàngqì.

Even if there's only a little hope, don't give up.

哪怕再忙，也要锻炼身体。

Nǎpà zài máng, yě yào duànliàn shēntǐ.

No matter how busy you are, you should still exercise.

grammar

哪怕 is always followed by 也 or 都 in the second clause: 哪怕...也/都... It's stronger than 即使 (even if).
