及其 is formal written Chinese. In everyday speech, people just say 和 (hé) or 和他的/她的. It literally means "and its/their" (及 = and, 其 = its).

mistakes

Don't confuse 及其 (jíqí, "and its") with 极其 (jíqí, "extremely"). They sound identical but have completely different meanings.
