Fangshan Restaurant
Opened in 1925 on the island in Beijing's Beihai Park by former Qing palace chefs. Its name literally means 'imitating (the imperial) kitchen' - the menu reconstructs dishes from the Qing court, and the restaurant is still operating today as a time-tested Beijing landmark.
