⺼ is the in-compound form of
肉 (meat/flesh). Visually identical to the moon radical
月 — but in chars about body parts, organs, or anatomy, the
月-shape is actually ⺼ (meat-moon,
肉月). Pedagogically called ròuyuè to distinguish from the real
月 (moon). Never written alone; the standalone form is
肉.
