盘飧市远无兼味，樽酒家贫只旧醅。

Pán sūn shì yuǎn wú jiān wèi, zūn jiǔ jiā pín zhǐ jiù pēi.

"My home-brewed unstrained wine is poor" - a humble line from a Du Fu poem welcoming a guest.

刚酿好的醅还没有过滤。

Gāng niàng hǎo de pēi hái méiyǒu guòlǜ.

The freshly fermented wine had not yet been filtered.

history

醅 is unfiltered wine still cloudy with dregs. It is best remembered from Du Fu's line about offering a guest only humble 旧醅 ("old unstrained wine").
