Diānxiánbìng fāzuò shí pángrén yào bǎochí lěngjìng.
When an epileptic seizure occurs, bystanders should stay calm.
Tips
usage
癫痫 alone is the technical/medical term; appending 病 (illness) makes it sound more colloquial. In Chinese folk speech epilepsy is also known as 羊癫风 (yángdiānfēng) or 羊角风.
memory
Both 癫 and 痫 carry the 疒 (sickness) radical. 癫 = madness, 痫 = childhood convulsion — together: a chronic disorder marked by sudden seizures.
