There's an old-style barber shop at the entrance to the alley.
Tips
usage
理发馆 has a slightly old-fashioned ring — the corner barber with a spinning red-blue-white pole and a row of leather chairs. Younger speakers more often say 理发店 (lǐfàdiàn) for a regular shop or 美发店 (měifàdiàn) / 美发沙龙 (měifà shālóng) for trendier salons.
mistakes
理发 here is read lǐfà (4th tone on 发, meaning "hair") — NOT lǐfā. Same character 发 has two readings: fā "to send out" vs fà "hair." The simplified form merges what traditional script writes as 髮 (hair) and 發 (send) into one character.
