漳州 is the heartland of Min Nan (
闽南) culture and a major source of the Hokkien-speaking diaspora in Taiwan and Southeast Asia. Its
土楼 — circular rammed-earth Hakka communal buildings shared with neighboring Longyan — are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The city is also famous for narcissus bulbs and tieguanyin-style oolong.
