Tips

history
Yuwang is the eighth and final ruler of the Yan Emperor (炎帝 Yándì) lineage in Chinese myth. After being defeated by Huangdi (黄帝, the Yellow Emperor) at Bǎnquán, the Yan and Huang tribes merged — which is why Han Chinese still call themselves 炎黄子孙 'descendants of Yan and Huang'.
