Koalas eat only eucalyptus leaves and sleep nearly twenty hours a day.
Tips
usage
Textbooks use the descriptive 树袋熊, 'tree-pouch bear', though a koala is not a bear. Everyday mainland speech says 考拉, from English, and Taiwan says 无尾熊, 'tailless bear'. 袋熊 is the wombat.
