普罗塞特

Mandarin transliteration most commonly seen for the Italian sparkling wine Prosecco (more standard rendering: 普罗塞克 Pǔluósèkè). Made from Glera grapes in northeast Italy, granted DOC/DOCG status in 2009. The 4-syllable form 普罗塞特 also surfaces as a transliteration of personal names like 'Prosset' or 'Prossette' in subtitles.

普 'Pǔ' for 'Pro-' (also in 普通 'general', and in 普罗 'pro-' generally), 罗 'luó' for '-r-' (default 'ro' character), 塞 'sè' for '-sse-' (lit. 'block, stuff'), 特 'tè' for '-cco/-tte' (lit. 'special').
