usage
Academic. Often interchangeable with 方法论 (fāngfǎlùn) - but 方法论 leans philosophical (Marxist 'methodology' as worldview), while 方法学 leans empirical / discipline-specific (e.g. medical, statistical). The 学 suffix marks it as a field of study.
