usage
In optometry the tone is sǎn (散光 = astigmatism). With tone sàn, 散光 means 'to diffuse light' - different word, different context. Eye-exam report rows to know: 球镜 (sphere), 柱镜 (cylinder - astigmatism), 轴位 (axis).
