Weighty. An 嘱托 is a serious charge, often a parting or final one, and accepting it means taking on the obligation. For an everyday favour say 拜托 or 麻烦你.

Close to 嘱咐, which is telling someone what to do and what to watch out for; this word hands over a responsibility instead. The same first character gives 遗嘱, a will.
