Mainland uses 亚马孙 (Yàmǎsūn); Taiwan and older Mainland writings use 亚马逊 (Yàmǎxùn) — the same Amazon, different transliteration. The e-commerce company (Amazon Inc.) is consistently 亚马逊 in Mainland press, which sometimes confuses learners.
