usage
Most often praise for hair and eyes that are black and glossy: 乌黑亮丽 (glossy jet-black), 乌黑的头发 (jet-black hair). For a darkness you cannot see in, 漆黑 is the usual word.

乌 is the crow, the black bird of 乌鸦: put the crow in front of 黑 and the black gets deeper.
