Always followed by a quantity. 不下 [number] = 'not below [number],' emphasizing the lower bound. More formal than 至少.

mistakes

Don't confuse with 下不 (cannot go down) or complement 不下 (can't fit, can't finish). This 不下 is a stand-alone adverb before a number.
